Role Description

  • The Senior Director at CADA ONG will provide strategic leadership, overseeing programs, operations, and stakeholder relationships to advance the organization’s mission.
  • This part time, hybrid role is based in Dubai, with a combination of on site presence for key meetings and activities, and flexibility for some work from home arrangements.

Day to Day Responsibilities

  • Define organizational priorities, guide program design and implementation, set performance metrics, and ensure effective resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams, support fundraising and partnership development, represent the organization in external forums, and ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
  • Mentor staff, foster an inclusive and high performing culture, and regularly report progress to the board or executive leadership.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in senior leadership roles, with a track record of setting strategic direction and overseeing complex programs or initiatives.
  • Strong governance, planning, and organizational skills, including the ability to manage budgets, resources, and timelines in a mission driven context.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship building skills to work effectively with internal teams, partners, donors, and community stakeholders.
  • Experience in the nonprofit or NGO sector, ideally with regional or international exposure and familiarity with operations in Dubai or the broader Middle East.
  • Ability to lead and develop diverse teams, promote inclusive practices, and manage change in a dynamic environment.
  • High level of professional integrity, sound judgment, and commitment to ethical standards.
  • Proficiency with common office and collaboration tools to support hybrid work arrangements.
  • Relevant academic background, such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in management, public administration, international relations, social sciences, or a related field.
