- Proficiency in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management within the built environment sector
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Understanding of local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes in Abu Dhabi or the wider UAE region
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting
- Advanced degree in Architecture, Project Management, or a related field; professional registration or licensure is highly beneficial
- Track record of strategic thinking, problem solving, and decision making at a senior management level

Role Description
- The Senior Director role at JJ GOMEZ Architects is a part time, hybrid position based in Abu Dhabi, with flexibility for some work from home.
- The Senior Director will oversee architectural design direction and project management activities, ensuring projects meet quality, budget, and schedule requirements.
- This role includes supervising project teams, reviewing design proposals, coordinating with clients and stakeholders, and providing strategic guidance on project portfolios.
- Day to day responsibilities involve setting and monitoring project milestones, resolving complex design and execution challenges, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- The Senior Director will also contribute to business development efforts, mentor team members, and support continuous improvement in workflows and processes.
Qualifications
