- Generate new business opportunities through calling, marketing campaigns, industry events and conferences
- Maintain a strong pipeline of short term, medium and long term opportunities within Alternatives
- Qualify potential prospects quickly to determine suitability for SS&C solutions
- Track all sales activities in CRM system
- Prepare for prospect engagements with strong attention to detail
- Manage all aspects of a complex sales cycle from prospecting to contract signature
- Create professional presentations, proposals and sales collateral
- Build strong industry relationships with clients, prospects and influencers
- Facilitate completion of Request for Proposals (RFPs)
Requirements
- Detailed knowledge of the UAE fund services sector
- Existing contacts across multiple verticals and their advisors/influencers
- Experience in selling financial services solutions
- Ability to manage complex sales cycles from prospecting to contract signature
- Strong presentation and proposal creation skills

Responsibilities
- Responsible for strategic direction of the business throughout the region and growing the sales team local presence.
- Generate new business opportunities through a variety of methods, including calling, marketing campaigns, industry events and conferences.
- Maintain a strong pipeline of short term, medium and long term opportunities within Alternatives (Private Equity, Real Assets, Private & Public Debt, Hedge Funds, Asset Owners).
- Qualify potential prospects quickly to determine their suitability for a particular SS&C solution.
- Track all sales activities and touchpoints in SS&C's CRM system to ensure timely, accurate and complete information.
- Be prepared to explain and defend all reported activities.
- Prepare for all prospect engagements with strong attention to detail, including discovery calls, on site and virtual presentations, product demonstrations, follow up meetings, etc.
- Follow up on all prospect engagements in a timely manner.
- Manage all aspects of a complex sales cycle from prospecting to contract signature.
- Create professional presentations, proposals and sales collateral for meetings with the C level.
- Pursue and build strong industry relationships with clients, prospects and influencers, and expand your professional network in the insurance sector.
- Prepare detailed write ups on prospects that include a well defined strategy, tactics and prospect backgrounds.
