Base Career helps you apply smarter for this job.
We’re looking for a Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer to improve how our engineering teams design, deploy, and operate cloud infrastructure—and to help product engineers move faster with less operational overhead.
This is not a ticket-driven infrastructure role.
You’ll work closely with product and infrastructure engineers to understand how they build and operate services, identify recurring sources of friction, and turn those patterns into pragmatic platform and cloud architecture improvements.
Developer productivity is a core outcome of this role.
You’ll help create fast feedback loops, safe self-service workflows, and clear infrastructure patterns that reduce cognitive load and let engineers spend more time building products.
You’ll own problems end to end: investigating developer friction or production risks, proposing solutions, implementing them, and measuring whether they worked.
That might mean simplifying an AWS architecture, shortening a deployment workflow, building a reusable platform capability, strengthening observability, or writing Terraform.
We care more about your engineering judgment and the outcomes you create than any particular tool.
