About the Role
Group-IB is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join its Development team.
The role focuses on building, maintaining, and scaling high-availability systems supporting global services.
The engineer will influence infrastructure scalability, reliability, resilience, security, and efficiency.
Your Mission
- Maintain and optimize bare-metal servers, LXC containers, virtual machines, and cloud environments.
- Operate and support Nginx, Puppet, GitLab, Artifactory, Nexus, Harbor, Grafana, and related infrastructure services.
- Manage infrastructure according to the Infrastructure as Code paradigm.
- Handle and resolve infrastructure operations incidents.
- Collaborate with network engineers, developers, and other technical stakeholders.
- Design and implement high-availability, fault-tolerant, and scalable software solutions.
- Monitor service performance and availability and configure systems for reliability and efficient resource use.
What We Are Looking For
- At least 4 years of experience in Linux administration, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering.
- Strong Bash or similar scripting automation skills and solid networking fundamentals.
- Production experience managing bare-metal infrastructure.
- Experience with Ansible or Puppet, distributed databases, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Ability to design secure, high-performance, fault-tolerant infrastructure solutions.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools, dashboards, and alerting.
Additional Experience
- Programming experience in Python or Go is an advantage.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, Alibaba Cloud, or other cloud providers is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Ceph and service meshes such as Istio is an advantage.
- Experience with high-load, large-scale distributed systems is an advantage.
