You'll be building/managing a tech stack that includes Kubernetes on AWS/GCP/Azure/On-Prem

Bring expert domain knowledge over fine tuning, scaling, monitoring big data tech stack like Kafka, Elastic Search, Spark, Postgres

Experience with enabling cloud security is a major plus

Test system integrity, application developments and other processes related to infrastructure, making improvements as needed

Work with open-source technologies, CI/CD tools and source control such as GIT

Help automate and streamline our operations and processes

Manage code deployments, fixes, updates and related processes

Available on call to troubleshoot system alerts

Help estimate, plan and execute on projects, features, and integrations

Stay current with industry trends and source new ways for our systems to improve

Cloud Providers: 4+ years experience in setting up & managing infrastructure using cloud providers. (AWS/GCP/Azure/On premise experience)

Participate in capacity planning and provisioning of new resources

AWS Background is a plus: Experience with AWS EC2, Auto Scaling Groups, AWS EKS (Kubernetes), Load Balancers, Block Storage, File Storage, S3, Key Management Service, IAM, VPC, etc

Orchestration/Containerization: Hands-on experience with and in-depth knowledge of Kubernetes (K8S)

Working knowledge of microservices-based architecture and have a fair understanding of security best-practices (Application and Infrastructure)

Experience creating/deploying K8S helm apps

Monitoring/Alerting/Logging: Prometheus/Grafana/Loki/ Elasticsearch & Kibana

Databases: Expert experience in deploying, maintaining and scaling distributed applications like Apache Kafka, Elasticsearch, Spark, and Postgres

CI/CD: You have facilitated the setup of CI/CD pipelines for both on-prem and cloud environments using tools such as Jenkins, Github Actions, Gitlab, Circle CI, etc

IAC: Experience/Exposure to infrastructure automation, such as Terraform or Ansible, and building/using/deploying Containers

Proficient in scripting & automation using Python, Shell-scripting, etc

Strong Linux System Admin Experience with excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills

Great organizational, communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills that make you a valuable co-worker in a fast, changing and ambiguous environment
