Role Overview
UST is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with expertise in Apache Kafka and Apache NiFi.
The role supports enterprise-scale data streaming and ingestion platforms across cloud environments.
The position emphasizes reliability, scalability, security, performance, automation, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, administer, and optimize Apache Kafka clusters.
- Build, manage, and enhance Apache NiFi data flows.
- Monitor and resolve production issues involving Kafka and NiFi.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments.
- Deploy data platform components in AWS or Azure.
- Automate provisioning, deployment, maintenance, and operational processes.
- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery readiness, security, and performance.
- Perform capacity planning, upgrades, monitoring, and incident resolution.
- Collaborate with engineering and platform teams and mentor team members.
Required Experience
- Five to six years of overall DevOps or Platform Engineering experience.
- At least three years of hands-on production experience with Apache Kafka.
