Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the overall technical input of the multidisciplinary design team
- Create, maintain, and actively manage the Design Management Plan (DMP)
- Accountable for design coordination and interface management process
- Develop, own, and manage a multidisciplinary design programme
- Ensure all design deliverables are reviewed, approved, and issued in accordance with QMS
- Integrate Safety in Design principles throughout all stages
- Confirm contractual design deliverables have been achieved prior to invoicing
- Identify, coordinate, and support compilation of scope gaps and changes
- Manage and monitor design resources to ensure delivery within budgets and programmes
- Act as primary technical interface with Client's technical team
- Manage client expectations through clear communication and timely reporting
- Lead or support stakeholder and statutory authority engagement
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a relevant design/engineering discipline
- Minimum 12 years postgraduate experience with 8+ years within the Middle East
- Significant experience in Design Management (minimum 5 years) or multidisciplinary design delivery
- Proven track record leading small to medium scale projects of medium to high complexity
- Strong capability in multi disciplinary design coordination and interface management
- Sound knowledge of design and construction processes, including Safety in Design
- Proficient in digital delivery and BIM enabled environments, including Revit, Navisworks, and design coordination tools
- Advanced proficiency in MS Project, Excel, and Word
- Strong understanding of Quality Management requirements

Your role
