Overview
Turner & Townsend seeks a Senior Design Manager for Data Center projects in Doha, Qatar.
Lead cross-functional teams, manage project portfolios, and drive innovation in data center design.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and maintain high-quality project execution.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the design and planning of complex data center infrastructure projects
- Lead and manage the design phase of large-scale data center projects from conception through implementation
- Develop comprehensive design strategies and project plans that align with organizational goals and stakeholder requirements
- Oversee and mentor a team of design professionals, providing technical guidance, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities
- Coordinate with PMC stakeholders, architects, engineers, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution and effective communication
- Analyze project requirements and constraints to identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and implement solutions proactively
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations
- Manage design documentation, specifications, and technical drawings to maintain accuracy and consistency across all project phases
- Monitor project performance metrics and KPIs, providing regular status reports and recommendations to senior leadership
- Evaluate emerging technologies and design methodologies to enhance operational efficiency and project outcomes
