Role overview
Lead the design and planning of complex data center infrastructure projects in Doha, Qatar.
Oversee design delivery, cross-functional teams, stakeholder coordination, technical quality, compliance, and project outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design phase of large-scale data center projects from conception through implementation while meeting timelines, budgets, and specifications.
- Develop design strategies and project plans aligned with organizational goals and stakeholder requirements.
- Oversee and mentor design professionals through technical guidance, feedback, and development support.
- Coordinate with PMC stakeholders, architects, engineers, and vendors.
- Identify project risks and constraints, develop mitigation strategies, and implement solutions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- Manage design documentation, specifications, and technical drawings across project phases.
- Monitor performance metrics and KPIs and report recommendations to senior leadership.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and design methodologies and facilitate stakeholder meetings and presentations.
Required qualifications
- At least 10 years of professional experience in data center, mission-critical, industrial design, management, or related project management roles.
