Responsibilities
- Lead the overall design management process across projects from concept, tender, design development, and construction stages
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, clients, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless design delivery
- Manage and oversee multidiscipline design coordination across architectural, structural, MEP, ELV, and specialist disciplines
- Review and challenge design proposals to ensure compliance with project requirements, technical standards, and construction objectives
- Lead design coordination meetings, technical workshops, and design review sessions
- Manage design submissions, approvals, deliverables, and programme milestones
- Identify design risks, technical issues, and opportunities for value engineering
- Support pre contract activities including tender documentation, design reviews, scope development, and technical evaluations
- Drive design coordination throughout construction stages to support successful project execution
- Support BIM coordination and digital design processes where applicable
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in design management within construction, consultancy, contractor, or PMC environments
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proficiency in design management software and tools
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

About the Role

- The role requires strong pre contract and post contract design management experience, with the ability to lead multidisciplinary design teams.

Qualifications
