Key Job Responsibilities

• Lead and undertake design activities for sewage treatment plant and water transmission or distribution network projects from concept through detailed design.
• Develop and review technical studies, calculations, drawings, specifications, reports, and other design deliverables.
• Provide technical input and engineering solutions for water and wastewater infrastructure systems.
• Coordinate design activities with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Review designs to ensure technical quality, compliance, and alignment with project requirements.
• Coordinate technical interfaces with clients, consultants, and authorities.
• Identify and resolve technical design issues, risks, interfaces, and changes.
• Provide technical guidance to junior and intermediate engineers.

Job Requirements

• 12–14 years of overall engineering experience.
• Strong design engineering background in water and wastewater infrastructure.
• Proven experience in the design of sewage treatment plants and water transmission or distribution networks.
• Experience across the design lifecycle from concept through detailed design.
• Strong technical knowledge of water and wastewater infrastructure design principles and standards.
• Experience preparing and reviewing technical calculations, drawings, specifications, reports, and design submissions.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary design activities.

Preferred Qualifications

• UAE or GCC water and wastewater infrastructure experience is preferred.
• Experience with major sewage treatment plant projects is preferred.
• Experience with large water transmission or distribution networks and relevant regional and international standards is preferred.
