Job Overview
SLP Group seeks a Senior Design Engineer – Plumbing to lead the design and development of PHE & FF systems.
Primary Responsibilities
- Responsible for the design and development of PHE & FF systems
- Ensuring proposals are in compliance with the company’s quality procedures, clients' requirements, and relevant/latest industry standards, international codes, planned timelines, allotted budget, company strategy, and goals
- Providing technical inputs for preparation of design drawings, shop drawings, coordination of drawings, and as-built drawings
- Overseeing the project’s conception, design, and specifications and managing scheduling, estimating, and securing materials
- Conducting research on new technologies in order to develop efficient designs for new PHE & FF systems
- Providing technical support to project staff regarding projects or issues related to PHE & FF systems
- Monitoring and carrying out quality check on progressive completed work
- Ensuring all paperwork submissions (e.g., Vendor Approval Submission, project reports, schedule submission, and works executed on sites) are according to specification, drawings and project requirements
- Coordinating with clients and consultants on the technical requirements and attend technical discussions and meetings with authorities, developers, and contractors
- Coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers and own teams, including group representatives for implementation of the projects and ensuring it is being built correctly and timely delivery of works
- Represents the company at technical meetings with clients and stakeholders and serves as the company's technical representative to clients and suppliers
