The purpose of this position is to provide electrical engineering leadership, technical direction, and project execution expertise for gas-fired combined-cycle (CCGT/NGCC) and simple-cycle gas turbine (SCGT) power generation EPC projects.
This role has the responsibility to promote Fluor’s competitiveness within the global marketplace by delivering quality services of unmatched value and technical competence.
The position serves as an Electrical Area Lead / Electrical Engineering Lead on assigned projects and is responsible for leading the electrical engineering scope from project development and design through procurement, construction support, commissioning, and start-up support.
The role requires demonstrated experience delivering electrical systems for large-scale gas turbine power generation facilities and the ability to coordinate electrical engineering activities across multiple disciplines, project functions, engineering offices, vendors, and construction teams.
The successful candidate will apply advanced engineering techniques and project execution practices to develop safe, reliable, code-compliant, and cost-effective electrical solutions for gas-fired power projects.
The successful candidate shall also possess demonstrated experience with high voltage generation interconnections, switchyards, substations, and utility.
The role requires a strong background in electrical power system studies and the application of analysis software such as ETAP to evaluate system performance, reliability, protection coordination, and regulatory compliance.

Professional Engineer (PE) license in Electrical Engineering, with the ability to obtain licensure by comity/reciprocity in multiple states
