Senior Datacenter Engineering Design Manager

The Senior Datacenter Engineering Design Manager will manage the engineering scope, schedule, and budget for greenfield, brownfield and retrofit engineering / design projects.

This role will provide design management, technical direction, decision-making and overall leadership for our datacenter designs.

To be successful in this role the candidate will oversee the delivery of multiple, concurrent, complete Datacenter design solutions aligned with the scopes, schedules, and budgets of the projects.

Coordinate a team of architects, engineers and designers and deliver projects aligned with the defined scope, schedule, and budget.

Collaborate with on-site operations teams to perform feasibility / gap analysis for conversion of existing datacenter spaces to new / upgraded uses.

Have communication, organization, and leadership skills.

Possess proficiency in commercial and industrial architecture and engineering with a primary focus on datacenter design.

Able to work with other technical and non-technical groups in a fast-paced environment and do so with an even temperament.

Person of integrity, be methodical, detailed-oriented with work ethic.

Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of experience in engineering, Architecture, construction engineering OR equivalent experience. 2+ years' experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team design/construction projects.

These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years of engineering, architecture, construction engineering. 5+ years experience leading cross discipline engineering / Architectural teams in design for construction projects.

Registered Professional Engineer or Architect PMP certification
