- Detail oriented and able to recognize anomalous data
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge in Python and big data analytical tools is an added advantage
- Skill in any Business intelligence visualization tool (Power BI, Tableau) is an added advantage

Role Overview
- The Senior Database Geologist supports the Chief Database Geoscientist in implementing changes to importing procedures and database customizations.
- They are also responsible for continually reviewing and maintaining the integrity and quality of the exploration data.
- They will train users in database software and assist in data importation.
Job Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of SQL and SQL Server Management Studio.
- Extensive experience in Fusion, DataShed or Aquire.
- Focus on error prevention rather than error correction.
- Detail oriented.
- Can readily recognize anomalous data.
- Ready to integrate exploration principles with data management.
- Knowledge in Python and any big data analytical tools will be added advantage.
- Skill in any Business intelligence visualisation tool (Power BI, Tableaue) will be added advantage.
- Multi cultural experience.
- Strong communication skills.
- Open minded and able to accommodate the needs of the exploration team.
- Logical and organized.
