We are seeking a Senior – Database Administrator, Development , to join our Development team within the Information Technology department.

We’re establishing a dedicated Data Operations team to build, secure, and scale our next-generation data platform.

You’ll serve as a foundational member of this new practice.

In this role, you’ll be the primary bridge between our legacy on-premises SQL Server footprint and our modern Microsoft Fabric data estate.

Your immediate mandate is threefold: actively support the Fabric Data Platform implementation team, engineer a standardized, streamlined process for handling enterprise data requests, and help define the core service offerings of the newly formed Data Operations group.

You’ll design the hybrid database architectures that connect our existing systems to the cloud, as well as take ownership of the cloud-based SQL services tailored for enterprise data warehousing.

The ideal candidate is a rigorous systems thinker who deeply understands enterprise data security, excels at performance tuning, and is passionate about building repeatable operational processes from the ground up.

• Fabric Implementation & Architecture: Design and maintain the hybrid database architectures connecting on-premises SQL Servers to Microsoft Fabric. Serve as the primary DBA SME supporting the broader Fabric Data Platform implementation team.
• Operations Team Establishment: Help define the core service catalog and operational SLA standards for the new Data Operations team. Design, document, and implement a standardized, repeatable intake process for all enterprise data requests.
• Data Management & Integration: Ensure all data is efficiently stored, highly accessible, and cleanly integrated from various source systems into the Fabric environment, preparing it for downstream analytics and AI workloads.
