Senior Data Scientist

Support the development of Enterprise Solutions, MVP to test the applicability of emerging tech and ways of working.

Be the champion & product owner of enterprise extraction solution and work closely with D&A Ops for triaging and solutioning of use cases.

Lead the design and development of Enterprise Solutions, capabilities powered by AI/ML models.

Secure access to new data sources and technology for LSEG Operations in anticipation future needs to meet GSOs and DSOs

Create an Operations culture of innovation that support Ops strategic focus areas removing perceived barriers to execution.

Drive MVE team development to improve efficiency and expand Ops capabilities.

Work with communities of practice for AI/ML and other emerging technologies and methods of working.

Collaborate with D&A, Tech Ops & other stakeholders to influence technology roadmaps.

Mentor & guide the Data scientist team of AI/ML, adoption of industry leading practices and realization of business outcomes.

Contribute to development of wider Customer Operations strategies.

Address complex business issues beyond immediate needs or where established policies can be adapted.

Good interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills and demonstrable ability to work effectively with all organisational levels.

Demonstrable experience working with AI/ML professionals & Tech Ops teams.

Experience managing full stack data scientists for 5-7 years.

Good understanding of Python programming concepts and leading practices and Solid SQL skills.

Ability to translate business, customers and end-users’ requirements to this into technical specifications, solutions and products, and metrics.

Extensive knowledge of MLOps approaches.

Extensive experience in Cloud computing.

Entrepreneurial thinker with the ability to take a problem statement, gather data and propose new / creative solutions.

Educated to degree level or equivalent.

Experience in large investment banking or financial services organisations.

Familiar with Refinitiv or LSEG processes and products.

Experience working with executives and / or C-Suite individuals.

Experience working with a global team.
