About the Role
Devoteam Middle East seeks a Senior Data Modeler Consultant to design, implement, and optimize enterprise data architecture and models. - Review current data models to understand the AS IS environment
- Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models for OLTP, OLAP, and Data Lakehouse environments
- Translate business processes into data requirements and align data model structures with business needs
- Design 3NF, dimensional, and Data Vault 2.0 models
- Transform unstructured data into structured data and optimize data systems
- Optimize query performance through indexing, partitioning, and materialization
- Establish and enforce data governance best practices and naming standards
- Define data security rules and ensure compliance
- Maintain data schemas using modern modeling tools and ensure documentation is accessible
Requirements
- 5 10 years of experience in data modeling
- Expertise in relational, dimensional, and NoSQL databases
- Experience with Data Vault 2.0
- Strong understanding of data governance and data quality

Job Description Summary
- Design, implement, optimize enterprise data architecture and models that represent complex data using relational, dimensional, and NoSQL databases.
- Ensure data is structured for high performance, clarity, and long term scalability across both operational and analytical systems.
- Data Modeler will be the translator between business stakeholders and data engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Assessment Review current data models to understand the AS IS environment.
- Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Modeling Plan, design and maintain blueprints of the TO BE data models for OLTP, OLAP, and Enterprise Data Lakehouse environments.
- Business Alignment Understand business processes and translate them into robust data requirements.
- Multi Paradigm Modeling Designing 3NF, Dimensional Models, and Data Vault 2.0.
- Data Quality Transform unstructured data into structured data by fixing errors and eliminating redundancies.
- Performance Optimization Optimize query performance through smart indexing, partitioning, and materialization strategies.
- Data Governance Establish, enforce and implement best practices, data naming standards, and metadata management.
- Data Security Specify rules and guidelines for ensuring data security and compliance.
- Tooling & Documentation Maintain data schemas using modern standards modeling tools and ensure documentation is accessible.
