Responsibilities
- Design and establish foundational data governance frameworks covering Data Quality, Data Classification, Metadata Management, Data Operations, and Personal Data Protection
- Partner with business stakeholders, data owners, data stewards, and technology teams to gather requirements and prioritize governance initiatives
- Define and implement Data Governance Operating Models, including RACI matrices, domain ownership, and stewardship alignment
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations through enforced governance policies, secure access controls, and structured data handling practices
- Administer, configure, and enhance Informatica governance platforms (CDGC, EDC, Axon, IDQ/CDQ)
- Onboard and model business and technical metadata, link assets to business glossaries, define enterprise data dictionaries, and deliver end to end data lineage
- Establish robust data quality frameworks by defining quality dimensions, validation rules, and monitoring mechanisms
- Perform data profiling, validation, and root cause analysis on data quality issues; deploy data quality agents across environments
- Manage environment setups across Development, Test, UAT, and Production; execute application migrations and lead platform upgrades
- Configure security policies, role based access controls (RBAC), and LDAP authentication
- Configure connectivity between Informatica platforms and enterprise data ecosystems (AWS, Databricks, SAP, Salesforce, Snowflake)
- Optimize platform performance through execution engine tuning and resource allocation
Requirements
- 10+ years of overall IT experience
- Minimum of 5 7 years of hands on experience delivering enterprise scale Data Governance, Metadata Management, and Data Quality solutions
- Extensive expertise in Informatica Axon, Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC), Informatica Data Quality (IDQ), and Informatica Cloud Data Governance and Catalog (CDGC)
- Proven experience implementing DAMA DMBOK aligned governance frameworks
- Strong understanding of data warehousing, relational modelling, and modern data stack architectures (e.g., Cloud Data Lakes)
- Excellent consultative, communication, and documentation skills

Role Overview

- This role focuses on designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise data governance frameworks aligned with industry standards such as DAMA DMBOK and regulatory frameworks.
- The ideal candidate will act as a trusted advisor, blending deep technical expertise in Informatica platforms with strategic business consulting.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Data Governance & Consulting
- Design and establish foundational data governance frameworks covering Data Quality, Data Classification, Metadata Management, Data Operations, and Personal Data Protection.
- Align governance initiatives with organizational goals and regulatory requirements, such as NDMO maturity goals or PDPL.
- Partner with business stakeholders, data owners, data stewards, and technology teams to gather requirements, prioritize governance initiatives, and drive enterprise wide adoption.
- Define and implement Data Governance Operating Models, including RACI matrices, domain ownership, and stewardship alignment.

- Experience with Data Engineering Integration (DEI) and PowerCenter is highly desirable.
- Proven experience implementing DAMA DMBOK aligned governance frameworks; familiarity with NDMO standards or similar regulatory frameworks is a strong plus.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing, relational modelling, and modern data stack architectures (e.g., Cloud Data Lakes).
- Excellent consultative, communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred Certifications
- Informatica Certified Professional designations for Enterprise Data Catalog Developer, Axon Data Governance Professional, and Cloud Data Governance and Catalog.
- Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) by DAMA.
- Industry certifications such as ITIL, Scrum Master, or Six Sigma.
