An investment management firm in Qatar is building a new Data & AI function and is seeking a Senior Data Engineer.

The role is permanent and works alongside Data Scientists and Data Modellers to evolve the cloud data warehouse and support data transformation.

Candidates must be willing to relocate to the Middle East full-time.

Build scalable and secure cloud data solutions for investment, risk, finance, and operational teams.
Manage and improve the Azure and Snowflake cloud data warehouse.
Design and deploy data pipelines supporting advanced analytics, machine learning, and generative AI development.
Advise on technology strategy and help the business adopt machine learning and generative AI capabilities effectively.

At least 5 years of cloud data engineering experience with Azure, including hands-on cloud data warehouse experience.
At least 2 years of experience configuring, deploying, and maintaining Snowflake.
Strong commercial Python experience with scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy, or similar tools.
Exposure to Snowflake Cortex AI and Azure AI Foundry is preferred.
