The Informatica BDM role typically involves the following tasks:
**ETL Process Development:**
Developing and managing complex ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes utilizing Informatica BDM tools.
**Big Data Integration:**
Implementing push-down modes using Spark, Blaze, and Hive execution engines to handle large datasets.
**Data Handling:**
Transforming and loading complex, unstructured, and NoSQL data sources.
**Hadoop Ecosystem Utilization:**
Working within the Hadoop ecosystem, including HDFS, Spark, and Hive.
**Data Modeling:**
Implementing data lakes and dimensional data modeling techniques.
**Documentation:**
Creating functional specification documents, design documents, and mapping specifications.

**Experience:**
A minimum of 5 years of experience
**Technical Skills:**
Proficiency in Informatica BDM (specifically versions like 10.2.X), SQL/PLSQL, Hive Database (DDL, partitioning, query language), and database systems like Oracle or Sybase.
**Education:**
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is generally required.
