Role overview
Build and own the data platform underneath a high-scale multimodal healthcare platform for autonomous AI agents.
Develop pipelines, models, services, and infrastructure that make clinical, genomic, and imaging data trustworthy and usable.
Combine data engineering with software engineering and Google Cloud infrastructure ownership in a HIPAA-regulated environment.
What you'll do
- Build ingestion and serving pipelines for EHR records, NGS genomics, and cardiovascular imaging data.
- Develop dbt models on BigQuery with tests, documentation, and SQL standards.
- Design multimodal patient data models and enforce them in code.
- Operate Pub/Sub messaging, retries, idempotency, and dead-letter handling.
- Build agent-ready metadata, data access, retrieval, TypeScript services, and APIs.
- Manage Google Cloud infrastructure with Terraform across data, storage, messaging, security, and IAM services.
- Support federated hospital networks with multitenancy, high availability, and hybrid environments.
- Implement data quality, lineage, observability, error tracking, and human-in-the-loop controls.
- Partner with clinical, analytics, and platform teams on governance and data integrity.
