Role Overview
Seeking a hands-on Databricks Lead and Lakehouse Architect for end-to-end delivery.
The role covers an Azure Databricks Lakehouse and Microsoft Fabric Power BI semantic modeling and reporting platform for hospitality analytics.
The position owns architecture, technical decisions, delivery planning, stakeholder alignment, initial build-out, and team ramp-up.
Experience and Employment
- The role requires 8–12 years of experience with strong Databricks depth.
- Employment type is contract and full time.
- The client location is Dubai.
Project Kickoff and Strategy
- Lead discovery workshops, clarify business objectives, and define scope, milestones, and delivery approach.
- Engage hospitality stakeholders across Revenue Management, Operations, Finance, Loyalty, and Digital.
- Define target-state lakehouse architecture and phased onboarding for reservations, stays, POS, loyalty, and digital domains.
- Define architecture, design standards, data onboarding, governance, and operating models.
- Establish coding standards, branching strategy, CI/CD approach, and development, test, and production environments.
