Role Description
The Senior Data Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in Riyadh.
The role delivers analytics supporting data-driven decisions for financial institutions and FinTech clients.
Core Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets; build and validate statistical and data models.
- Generate insights for credit-risk assessment, portfolio management, and operational performance.
- Design dashboards and reports, communicate findings, and collaborate with consultants, product teams, and client leads.
- Translate business requirements into analytical frameworks and conduct exploratory and predictive analyses.
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and compliance with relevant standards.
- Contribute to methodology improvement, mentor junior analysts, and support decision analytics and digital transformation initiatives.
Qualifications
- Have 5-10 years of experience in end-to-end development, validation, and monitoring of credit-risk models.
- Develop application and behavioral scorecards.
- Build and maintain IRB models covering PD, LGD, and EAD, plus IFRS 9 ECL models.
- Ensure compliance with Basel guidelines and internal governance standards.
- Perform data extraction, exploratory analysis, feature engineering, segmentation, and data-quality checks using SQL and Python.
- Deploy and automate models using Python, SAS, or R with production-ready pipelines.
- Collaborate with business, risk, IT, and compliance stakeholders and translate outputs into business decisions.
