Role overview
Universal Music UK is seeking a Senior Data Analyst for its central data, AI, and technology team.
The role turns data into insight that supports innovation, creative data-driven strategies, artists, labels, and central teams.
The analyst will work with large datasets, technical teams, and modern analytics tools to solve business problems.
Key responsibilities
- Support artists and labels across the business as part of the Data and AI team.
- Provide senior input and lead data strategy at label level.
- Support strategic research with data and audience insight.
- Research and develop data-driven solutions for current and future business problems.
- Use partner data to produce key metrics and provide feedback to label teams.
- Advise on data-related topics to guide business decisions.
- Source, clean, and prepare data for modelling, product creation, or visualisation.
- Develop datasets or features that become integral to business operations.
Skills and experience
- Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insight.
- Use advanced SQL to query large datasets accurately and efficiently.
