Senior Data Analyst

Position Summary

Primary Responsibilities

• Analyze and report internal and external data relevant to PVH Supply.
• Gather, extract, cleanse, standardize, and integrate multiple datasets.
• Create reports and dashboards using available tools.
• Translate business rules into SQL, Python, or R code to cleanse data and derive insights.
• Use statistical methods, hypothesis testing, and causal analysis to assess data trends.
• Present quantitative insights clearly to leadership.
• Analyze and harmonize data from multiple supply chain source systems.
• Identify and automate data flows and processes where feasible.
• Manage day-to-day and ad hoc analysis requests for PVH Supply business groups.
• Collaborate with SDA counterparts, vendor management, brands, businesses, teams, and external service partners.

Decision Making and Collaboration

• Make day-to-day decisions on data, reporting parameters, and development, escalating issues through appropriate channels.
• Work with incomplete or inconsistent datasets, changing business needs, and evolving strategic direction.
• Translate data results into understandable visuals and concise executive summaries.
• Work on multiple projects while learning and adapting to changing business and technology needs.

Qualifications and Experience

• One to three years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or a similar quantitative field is required.
• A master’s degree is a plus.

Technical Skills Required

• Strong expertise with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookup formulas, and large data volumes.
• Strong expertise in SQL data mining, dataset manipulation, complex queries, and relational data models.
• Strong expertise with R or Python for data cleansing, insight generation, statistical analysis, and modeling.
• Intermediate expertise in Tableau, Power BI, or MicroStrategy for creating and publishing dashboards.
• Intermediate to strong expertise in PowerPoint for presenting analysis findings and insights.

Technical Skills Preferred

• Exposure to an ETL or data integration tool such as Informatica, Talend, Alteryx, or Databricks.
• Exposure to creating data wireframes or mockups.
• Exposure to automating Excel tasks with VBA macros.
• Experience applying analytics in a supply chain environment.
