Job Description
The company operates a PCI DSS Level 1 payment-orchestration platform.
The Senior Cybersecurity Engineer will protect endpoint, email, network, and web-facing payment infrastructure.
The role combines senior security operations, hands-on security-stack engineering, MDR ownership, and security governance.
Required Qualifications
- At least 7 years of hands-on cybersecurity, security operations, or security engineering experience, including senior or lead experience.
- Experience implementing and evidencing PCI DSS, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, or CIS Benchmark controls.
- Experience owning incident response from triage through post-incident review.
- Experience working alongside or managing an MDR or managed SOC service, including escalation governance and SLA oversight.
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Hands-on SIEM/XDR and EDR operation, tuning, and detection engineering.
- Administration of email security, DLP, SASE, and VPN platforms.
- WAF, API security, and DDoS mitigation using Cloudflare or comparable edge platforms.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, network security fundamentals, and common attack techniques.
