Role Overview
The Senior Cybersecurity Engineer will be responsible for securing the organization’s IT environment, identifying risks, and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement security architecture and controls
- Monitor and respond to security incidents and threats
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing coordination
- Manage SIEM, SOC operations, and security tools
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, etc.)
- Lead security audits and risk assessments
- Manage identity and access management (IAM)
- Coordinate with vendors on security solutions
- Conduct user awareness and security training
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity
- Strong experience in:
- + Network security, firewalls, IDS/IPS
- + SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)
- + Endpoint security and EDR solutions
- + Cloud security
- Solid understanding of security frameworks and compliance
Certifications (Preferred)
- CISSP, CISM, or CEH
Soft Skills
- Fluent in Arabic and English (mandatory)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High level of accountability and integrity
- Ability to manage vendors and security partners
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
- Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with evolving threats
- Skills: cissp,cism,ceh,implementer,auditor,cloud security,endpoint security,edr solutions,splunk,qradar,firewalls,siem,soc operations,iso 27001,nist,risk assessments
