Role Overview
Manage credit control, accounts receivable, and collections for FMCG customers.
Lead credit-control activities while supporting reporting, controls, and junior team members.
Credit Control and Collections
- Drive cash collection, reduce overdue balances, and improve days sales outstanding.
- Monitor customer credit limits, payment terms, and credit exposure.
- Manage collections from distributors, wholesalers, supermarkets, and key accounts.
- Resolve disputes, deductions, rebates, returns, and short payments.
- Conduct credit-risk assessments and recommend credit limits or credit holds.
- Monitor potential bad debts and escalate high-risk or overdue accounts.
Reporting and Finance Support
- Prepare aging, collection, DSO, and credit-exposure reports for management.
- Ensure compliance with company credit policies and internal controls.
- Support month-end closing, reconciliations, audits, and accounts receivable reporting.
Collaboration and Leadership
- Coordinate with Sales, Finance, Logistics, and Customer Service to resolve account issues.
