Responsibilities
- Lead and advise on corporate transactions, including M&A, joint ventures, share purchase agreements, and special purpose vehicles
- Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize a wide range of commercial agreements and transaction documents
- Advise clients on corporate, commercial, and labor law matters
- Oversee and manage commercial and labor litigation matters
- Provide strategic legal advice and assess legal and commercial risks
- Represent clients before judicial and quasi judicial authorities where required
- Manage legal matters from inception to completion while ensuring timely execution
- Lead, mentor, and supervise teams of Associates and Legal Advisors
- Work closely with Partners on client development, complex mandates, and strategic initiatives
- Monitor legislative and regulatory developments relevant to clients and the firm's practice areas
- Prepare legal memoranda, reports, and client updates
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent; a master's degree (LLM) is an advantage
- 8+ years of relevant legal experience, preferably within a reputable law firm
- Strong experience in M&A, JV transactions, SPAs, SPVs, and corporate/commercial advisory work
- Experience managing commercial and labor litigation matters
- Proven ability to lead and manage teams of Associates and legal professionals
- Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluency in English is required; Arabic is highly preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Saudi nationals are preferred
