What Your Day Will Look Like As a Senior Core Software Engineer at Beyond Sports, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the resilience, scalability, and integrity of our global backend platforms. Each day, you’ll collaborate with backend developers, infrastructure specialists, and product teams to safeguard our production environments. You’ll be hands-on: diving deep into distributed systems, debugging complex core codebase issues, optimizing database queries, and managing live data streaming pipelines.

You will work to build preventative monitoring and proactive automation. Whether you are crafting automated end-to-end integration scripts, establishing robust alerting pipelines in Grafana or Prometheus, or mentoring junior team members on operational best practices, you’ll be an essential pillar in maintaining world-class system reliability.
