Purpose and Communication
Report on security strategy implementation, performance outputs, related risks, compliance issues, incidents, and investigation findings.
Direct operational management responses to implement security strategy, meet performance requirements, mitigate risk, and achieve compliance.
Coordinate with the Manager - Security, operational managers, contracted security providers, internal stakeholders, and external authorities.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor contracted security providers' service-level agreements, performance indicators, capacity, and workflow plans across multiple sites.
- Maintain security oversight of venues not covered by contracted providers.
- Monitor current regulations, laws, and guidelines and provide compliance feedback.
- Draft technical procedures, specialist manuals, checklists, and forms supporting business continuity and compliance.
- Investigate stock losses, theft, claims, damages, suspicious activity, and other operational incidents.
- Prepare, review, and issue security reports, inspection reports, and non-conformity reports.
- Maintain post instructions and schedules and enforce post-specific policies and procedures through communication and training.
- Establish and oversee emergency and security programmes and direct responses to medical emergencies and threats to life or property.
