Senior Contracts Advisor - Temporary Contract

Minimum10 years’ experience in contracts, procurement, or commercial roles within oil and gas, energy, offshore operations, or major projects.

Strong understanding of contract law and commercial principles in an oil and gas context.

Experience with industry standard contracts and bespoke oil and gas agreements.

Proven experience managing claims, variations, disputes, and commercial risk on high-value contracts.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

A pragmatic, commercial mindset with strong attention to detail and risk awareness.

Ability to operate autonomously in fast-paced, high-pressure operational environments.

Able to build trusted relationships internally and externally.

Strong influencing capability with internal stakeholders, suppliers, contractors, and external partners.

High levels of self-motivation, initiative, and adaptability.

Strong analytical skills and commercial judgement.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise with peers, management, suppliers, contractors, and regulatory or industry associations.
