About the Role

- Manage all legal and commercial affairs related to the structure of the organisation in the region
- Provide advice on contractual and legal matters including contract formation, negotiation, project issues, and disputes
- Ensure compliance with statutory obligations and monitor sanctions
- Oversee entity management including formation and dissolution of entities
- Develop and refine policies and procedures for regulatory compliance
- Manage contract review, proposal input, and dispute resolution
Requirements
- Graduate University Degree in relevant field (e.g., Contract Law)
- At least 15 years experience in contract administration and management (preferably Middle East)
- Knowledge of technical and commercial disciplines related to oil and gas development projects
- Considerable knowledge of contract law, contract management, financial management of projects, and risk management
- Experience in International markets (preferably Middle East and APAC)

Main Purpose of Role
- The Senior Contract Manager is responsible for managing all Legal & Commercial affairs related to the structure of the organisation in the region, its commercial licenses and compliance.
Qualifications
- Graduate University Degree in relevant Degree (e.g. Contract Law)
- At least 15 years experience in the same role or in the administration and management of Contracts (preferably with Middle East experience).
Knowledge / Experience (Skills)
- Risk awareness, Quality consciousness, Cost consciousness, Negotiation skills, Decision Making, Analytical Skills, Result Oriented, Proactive approach, Ability to work under pressure.
- Knowledge of technical and commercial disciplines related to oil and gas development Projects, Exposure to EPC environment.
- Knowledge of legal and contractual laws governing Projects.
- Considerable knowledge of contract law, contract management, financial management of projects, project controls, risk management principles.
- Skills in strategy formulation, negotiation and relationship building.
- Experience in International markets (preferably in the Middle East and APAC).
Responsibilities
- Commercial Management – responsible for advising on the commercial and legal risks.
- Contract Governance – providing direction on the execution of projects.
- Regulatory Compliance – continuously monitor compliance with statutory obligations.
- Entity Management – ensure compliance with and be responsible for the formation and dissolution of entities.
- Compliance work with internal stakeholders to develop and/or refine policies and procedures.
- Capability building Implementing appropriate training programs.
- Contract Review – ensure client and supplier contracts are well negotiated.
- Proposal Input – create innovative solutions to legal and commercial issues.
- Policies and Procedures – ensure legal and commercial matters are appropriately considered.
- Enterprise Risk Management contribute to the management of enterprise risk.
- Due Diligence – ensure the relevant due diligence for suppliers, clients and other third parties.
- Dispute Resolution – ensure client, supplier and other disputes are managed effectively.
