Role Overview

Parsons is seeking a Senior Contract Administrator for its Tabuk, Saudi Arabia team.

The role provides contract administration and commercial support throughout the project lifecycle while safeguarding contractual and commercial interests.

Contract Administration

  • Administer construction, consultancy, and design contracts.
  • Monitor compliance, notices, obligations, milestones, bonds, insurance, and other contractual requirements.
  • Manage variations and change control from identification through implementation.
  • Review PVNs, PVRs, change orders, variation orders, claims, and supporting substantiation.
  • Assess entitlement, cost, programme impacts, extensions of time, disruption, prolongation, acceleration, and additional costs.
  • Review payment applications and coordinate certification with quantity surveying and cost management teams.
  • Prepare contractual assessments, recommendations, notices, letters, instructions, and commercial correspondence.
  • Maintain contract, variation, claims, and action registers and provide commercial reporting.
  • Coordinate with project stakeholders and support amendments, extensions, close-out, and final accounts.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 15 years of relevant contract administration or commercial experience.
  • Experience with a PMC, client, consultant, or major contractor.
  • Strong knowledge of FIDIC and bespoke construction or consultancy contracts.
  • Proven experience with variations, claims, extensions of time, payment, negotiations, and contractual risk management.
  • GCC or Middle East experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, another Engineering field, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.

Professional Skills

  • Strong contractual and commercial judgment and knowledge of contract administration and change management.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, stakeholder management, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to independently manage complex contractual matters and multiple competing priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and contractual record keeping.

  • The position is based in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia.
