PulseHire HR is delighted to offer a prestigious opportunity for a Senior Consultant in Neonatology & Newborn Care to join a leading healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi.

We specialize in connecting highly qualified medical professionals with top healthcare organizations and provide end-to-end recruitment support, including assistance with credentialing and licensing.

As a Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for leading the neonatal care unit, managing critically ill and premature newborns, and implementing the latest evidence-based practices to ensure the highest standards of care.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), providing expert clinical care to critically ill and premature newborns
  • Manage complex neonatal cases using advanced diagnostic and therapeutic techniques
  • Supervise and mentor junior medical staff and multidisciplinary neonatal teams
  • Develop and implement clinical protocols and guidelines to improve neonatal outcomes
  • Engage with families, providing education and support regarding newborn care and treatment plans
  • Participate in clinical research and continuous professional development activities
  • Ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation of patient care in compliance with healthcare regulations

Requirements

  • Medical degree with specialization in Neonatology
  • Board certification in Neonatology or equivalent qualifications
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in neonatal care with senior consultant or leadership roles
  • Expertise in managing advanced newborn and NICU care, including ventilator management and resuscitation
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team collaboration skills
  • Valid medical license to practice in Abu Dhabi or eligibility to obtain one
  • Commitment to research, education, and maintaining up-to-date clinical knowledge
