Responsibilities

  • Lead and support delivery of vibration engineering projects.
  • Provide expert technical advice and guidance to clients.
  • Assess vibration related integrity risks associated with piping systems and structures.
  • Conduct vibration investigations, analysis and troubleshooting activities.
  • Develop practical mitigation solutions to address vibration threats.
  • Deliver vibration risk management, monitoring and inspection strategies.
  • Prepare clear, concise and accurate technical reports and presentations.
  • Support capability development and adoption of innovative engineering approaches.
  • Mentor, supervise and develop junior engineers.
  • Support contract delivery, project execution and commercial performance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Support business development activities and proposal preparation.
  • Undertake offshore and onshore surveys as required.

Required

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

Minimum 10 years' experience in vibration engineering or a related engineering field.

Strong understanding of vibration analysis principles and techniques.

Experience assessing vibration risks associated with pipework, structures and industrial equipment.

Knowledge of relevant industry standards including Energy Institute AVIFF guidance, BS7608, BS7910 and API579.

Experience with vibration monitoring and data analysis software.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Desired

Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.

Chartered Engineer (CEng), PE, EUR ING or equivalent professional status.

Current offshore medical and survival certification.

Experience in the oil and gas or energy sectors.
