The Opportunity
EY is hiring a Senior Consultant or Assistant Manager in its Data and AI practice.
The role focuses on designing, building, and scaling modern data platforms and architectures for analytics and AI use cases.
The position supports client engagements, proposals, and practice growth across the Saudi market.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end data engineering solutions across multiple client engagements.
- Build and optimize scalable data platforms and pipelines for analytics, BI, and AI.
- Implement medallion and lakehouse architectures across cloud and on-premise environments.
- Develop reliable, secure, governed, and high-performing data models and pipelines.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, data scientists, and analytics teams on AI solutions.
- Support data modernization and legacy-to-cloud migration initiatives.
- Deliver client presentations, solution designs, and executive-level narratives.
- Support proposals, solution shaping, estimations, and commercial discussions.
- Coach junior team members and contribute to EY knowledge assets.
Skills and Attributes for Success
- Strong hands-on SQL and Python experience for data engineering.
- Expertise in data modeling, ETL/ELT development, and pipeline orchestration.
- Knowledge of modern data platforms and engineering technologies.
- Understanding of batch and streaming data architectures.
- Experience with Azure, AWS, and/or GCP and on-premise technologies.
- Understanding of data governance, quality, and security principles.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into business value through storytelling.
- Experience preparing client presentations, business cases, and Data and AI proposals.
- Business and commercial acumen with consulting delivery experience.
- Experience with Dataiku and related data science platforms.
Experience and Qualifications
- 3–7+ years of experience in data engineering and/or Data and AI consulting.
- Consulting or professional services experience is strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Experience delivering projects within large, complex organizations is advantageous.
Language Requirements
- Arabic language skills are strongly preferred.
- Professional proficiency in English is required.

- The role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
