About the Role

Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all mechanical construction activities, including piping, static equipment, rotating equipment, tanks, pressure vessels, structural supports, and mechanical packages
- Review engineering drawings, construction procedures, method statements, and work packs before execution
- Coordinate daily construction activities with engineering, QA/QC, HSE, procurement, planning, and subcontractors
- Ensure construction activities comply with ADNOC HSE policies, project specifications, approved procedures, and international standards
- Monitor construction progress against project schedules and recommend corrective actions to meet milestones
- Supervise installation, alignment, erection, testing, and commissioning support for mechanical systems and equipment
- Review and resolve construction related technical issues in coordination with engineering teams
- Ensure all inspections and quality control activities are completed in accordance with the Inspection and Test Plan (ITP)
- Participate in Mechanical Completion, Pre Commissioning, Commissioning, and System Handover activities
- Verify material availability and coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to avoid construction delays
- Conduct site inspections and ensure safe work practices, including Permit to Work (PTW), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and risk assessments
- Attend project progress meetings and provide daily, weekly, and monthly construction reports
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 15 years of experience in mechanical construction within the oil & gas industry
- At least 5 years in a senior construction engineering role on major EPC projects
- Experience in LNG plants, gas processing facilities, petrochemical plants, refineries, or large industrial projects highly preferred
- Experience working on ADNOC projects is preferred

Qualifications
