Senior Composites Technician, First Shift

Responsible for the layup of flight and development composites hardware, working with materials such as carbon and fiberglass pre-pregs, honeycomb cores, and adhesives

Use materials and systems commonly used in aerospace composites manufacturing such as: vacuum bagging films and consumables, laser projection systems, manufacturing execution software, and operate in controlled clean environments

Collaborate with the production team and manufacturing engineers to develop, document, and improve manufacturing processes

Uphold high Relativity Space standards regarding safety and shop cleanliness

Foster an inclusive environment for all team members

About You:

5+ years of composites manufacturing experience in aerospace, automotive, or related industries

Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment

Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written) with engineering and production

Ability to set up and operate calibrated tools and precision measuring equipment

Working experience with Manufacturing Execution System software to document manufacturing operations (work order labor charging, buyoffs, data collections, etc.)

Nice to haves but not required:

FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate

Experience partnering with other business functions to successfully build flight hardware such as manufacturing engineering and quality

Experience supporting manufacturing operations at remote or downstream work sites
