Role Description

  • The Senior Compliance Officer is a part time, hybrid role based in Dubai, with a mix of on site work and remote flexibility.
  • This role is responsible for overseeing and enhancing the company's compliance framework, including monitoring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Day to day tasks include reviewing and updating compliance procedures, conducting risk assessments, and preparing reports for senior management and relevant regulators.
  • The Senior Compliance Officer will provide guidance to business units on regulatory changes, support compliance training, and investigate potential compliance breaches or issues.
  • This position collaborates closely with finance, operations, and leadership teams to ensure that business activities align with applicable laws, standards, and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Compliance Management and Regulatory Compliance, with experience designing, implementing, and monitoring compliance frameworks.
  • Advanced Analytical Skills to assess risk, interpret regulations, and evaluate the impact of compliance requirements on business operations.
  • Effective Communication skills, including the ability to draft clear policies, reports, and guidance, and to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Solid understanding of Finance principles, particularly in relation to financial products, services, and regulatory obligations.
  • Proven experience in a senior compliance or risk management role within financial services or a related regulated industry.
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CAMS, CRCMP, or equivalent) and/or a degree in law, finance, business, or a related field.
  • Detail oriented, organized, and able to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a hybrid work environment.
  • High level of integrity, sound judgment, and commitment to ethical conduct and continuous improvement.
