Role Overview
CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior Communication Systems Engineer for space, spacecraft, and aerospace communication systems.
The role focuses on developing leading-edge phased arrays and serving as a technical point of contact for communication programs.
The position involves space architecture concepts, subsystem and payload design, requirements development, system architecture, CONOPS, and risk assessment.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Evaluate customer and operational needs to define requirements and assure compatibility of system interfaces.
- Support verification planning and test execution.
- Develop processes for requirements management, flow-down, and traceability.
- Perform risk analysis and develop mitigation strategies.
- Identify and resolve issues that impede engineering team progress.
