Build secure, governed, enterprise-scale AI services that move mission solutions from prototype to production.
The role combines senior cloud engineering and software development for a national cyber mission.
What you'll be doing
- Provide embedded operations support, capability integration, and rapid prototyping for AI-enabled tools.
- Develop production Python applications, APIs, and microservices in AWS and Microsoft Azure.
- Architect CI/CD pipelines and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure for AI solutions.
- Collaborate with AI/ML engineers and data scientists to integrate AI capabilities.
- Ensure production AI application reliability, performance, and security.
- Research cloud engineering practices and document architecture, processes, and configurations.
- Support RMF/ATO security accreditation of production systems.
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field with 10 years of experience, or master's degree with 8 years of experience.
- Active Top Secret SCI security clearance with polygraph.
- Advanced production Python proficiency.
- Expertise in API development and integration.
- Experience architecting and managing CI/CD pipelines.
- Extensive AWS and Microsoft Azure experience for software development and infrastructure management.
Desired qualifications
- Familiarity with Docker or Kubernetes.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable engineering solutions.
- Exposure to AI and machine learning concepts.
- Experience with Terraform or Ansible for infrastructure as code.
- AWS or Microsoft Azure certification.
