Role overview
A leading multi-strategy hedge fund is seeking a Senior Cloud/DevOps Engineer for its Platform Engineering team in London.
The role is embedded with software engineering and focuses on a hybrid multi-cloud estate, predominantly Azure.
The position offers the opportunity to shape cloud strategy, own business-critical infrastructure, and collaborate across Europe.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and automate hybrid multi-cloud infrastructure.
- Improve CI/CD, observability, logging, and developer experience across the firm.
- Own business-critical infrastructure and contribute to end-to-end cloud strategy.
- Collaborate with software engineering and high-impact teams across Europe.
- Automate workflows using Python.
Technical requirements
- Infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Container platform experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- CI/CD experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Octopus, or Bamboo.
- Monitoring and logging experience with DataDog, OpenSearch, or LogicMonitor.
- Python experience for workflow automation.
