- Ensure compliance with international and UAE building codes and regulations
- Manage project planning, scheduling, resource coordination, and risk management
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders
Requirements
- 10+ years of structural steel design experience in the UAE/Gulf projects
- In depth knowledge of international and UAE building codes & regulations
- Proficiency in STAAD, ETABS, SAFE, SAP, Idea StatiCa, Prokon, RAM Connection
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
- Demonstrated Project Management capabilities
- Significant experience (typically 8+ years) in civil and structural design within consultancy or similar environments
- Familiarity with international and regional codes and standards (e.g., ACI, AISC, Eurocode, local authority regulations)
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working on Petrochemical, Buildings, or Infrastructure projects in the GCC region is highly beneficial
