Overview
- We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer specialized in security infrastructure to lead the design, compliance, and documentation of critical asset protection projects.
- In this role, you will bridge the gap between civil engineering and complex physical security requirements, ensuring all project designs strictly align with HCIS standards, while guiding technical drafting teams and overseeing the production of flawless construction documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- HCIS Compliance: Direct the civil engineering design and structural layout of physical security systems to ensure full compliance with HCIS directives, industrial safety codes, and civil engineering standards.
- Security Design Integration: Integrate physical security system requirements — perimeter fences, gates, crash rated barriers, access control points, and CCTV foundations — into overall civil site designs.
- Drafting Direction: Utilize foundational AutoCAD skills to review designs, verify dimensions, and directly guide CAD operators in accurately modifying technical drawings.
- Drawing Supervision: Oversee, review, and approve detailed shop drawings, as built drawings, standard details, and cross sections to ensure technical accuracy and constructability.
- Documentation Management: Prepare, review, and maintain comprehensive engineering documentation, calculation sheets, technical specifications, and compliance matrices for stakeholders and regulatory review.
