Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, design, and coordination of civil engineering projects, with a focus on infrastructure and site development
- Prepare and review engineering drawings, calculations, and technical reports
- Oversee stormwater management and other civil works to ensure compliance with local regulations and standards
- Guide junior engineers, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and support project scheduling, cost estimates, and quality control
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and authorities, resolving technical issues on site
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
Requirements
- Civil engineering expertise with strong skills in Civil Engineering Design and overall Civil Engineering principles
- Experience leading and mentoring Civil Engineers, with a track record of managing project teams and coordinating technical work
- Proficiency in Planning and project coordination, including scheduling, resource allocation, and documentation
- Knowledge of Stormwater Management, drainage design, and related infrastructure systems
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a closely related field
- Professional engineering registration or eligibility is preferred
- Familiarity with relevant design standards, codes, and local regulations in Qatar or the GCC region
- Proficiency in common civil engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D or equivalent) and MS Office tools
