Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 4+ years of progressive transportation technician experience as an employee or consultant for a State Highway Agency, or an equivalent combination of training and directly related experience.
• Thorough knowledge of materials, methods, and equipment used in highway construction.
• Considerable knowledge of mathematical functions, including algebra, geometry, and trigonometry related to highway and transportation engineering.
• Skill in the use of office equipment such as calculators and computers.
• Ability to read, interpret, and explain construction plans, contract provisions, specifications, and inspection procedures.
• Ability to take notes and prepare or review reports.
• Ability to supervise and coordinate the activities of lower-level employees.
• Must be licensed to operate motor vehicles in accordance with Georgia Law.
• Proficiency with computers (e.g., Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Outlook, internet, etc.).

Compensation Details

• Expected Salary: $72k-$85k/year ($35-$41/hour). Luster provides the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might offer for this position based on the successful candidate’s level of experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, education, certifications, licenses, geographic location, etc. Luster reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range depending on circumstances not related to any status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.
