Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers and subcontractors; assign jobs, coordinate daily schedules, and manage transit performance across regional land routes
- Oversee loading processes to ensure optimal space utilization, cargo safety, and compliance with transport weight regulations
- Track shipments continuously and provide proactive, accurate milestone updates to clients, ensuring transparency and managing exceptions effectively
- Manage the end to end operational documentation lifecycle; open and update transport jobs within the management system, verify supplier costs, and accurately prepare and issue client billings upon delivery
- Resolve operational bottlenecks, border clearance delays, and driver issues immediately to protect delivery timelines
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of hands on experience in land freight forwarding and road transport operations within the GCC
- Proven capability in managing driver fleets, coordinating heavy vehicle loading, and navigating regional cross border logistics workflows
- High attention to detail in managing job folders, processing transport documentation, and managing billing/invoicing cycles
- Clear, direct communication style with the ability to maintain composure and authority when managing drivers and resolving operational crises
- Strong proficiency in both Arabic and English

About the Role
- Apollo Freight Solutions is seeking an experienced, highly organized, and proactive Senior Cargo Operations Coordinator to assist manage day to day land freight operations in Dubai, UAE.
- This role takes full accountability for the execution of transport workflows, from initial vehicle loading to final client billing.
- The successful candidate must possess a strong track record in driver management, regional dispatch coordination, and real time shipment tracking.
Key Responsibilities
- Driver & Dispatch Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers and subcontractors. Assign jobs, coordinate daily schedules, and manage transit performance across regional land routes.
- Loading & Capacity Supervision: Oversee loading processes to ensure optimal space utilization, cargo safety, and compliance with transport weight regulations.
- Real Time Client Updates: Track shipments continuously and provide proactive, accurate milestone updates to clients, ensuring transparency and managing exceptions effectively.
